Malek Korkis, DMD
Dr. Malek Korkis attended the University of Western Ontario, Canada for his undergraduate studies where he graduated with honors specializing in Chemistry and a Masters degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. He then continued his dental education at Midwestern University-College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. where he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Korkis completed his General Practice Residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic as a chief resident.
Dr. Korkis is very proud to provide all aspects of comprehensive dentistry, which includes General, Restorative, Implants, Cosmetic, emergency dentistry and TMD treatment to the Lindenhurst and surrounding communities. Dr. Korkis continues to be a lifelong learner and constantly educating himself of dental advancements by committing to over 200 hours of advanced dental education each year. He approaches dentistry with precision, accuracy, and artistic perspective.
Dr. Korkis serves as a part time faculty at Midwestern University-College of Dental Medicine. He helps empowering students to be partners in their comprehensive oral healthcare education, and develop good habits that will last a lifetime. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Outside the office, he enjoys working out, playing keyboard and spending time outdoors.
